Coolsville
Where the van idles, the gang gathers, and every ghost story starts with a school hallway rumor.
Coolsville is the fictional hometown of the Mystery Inc. gang: Fred Jones, Daphne Blake, Velma Dinkley, Shaggy Rogers and their Great Dane, Scooby-Doo. The name was established by the 1988 series A Pup Named Scooby-Doo, in which the Scooby-Doo Detective Agency solves mysteries in the town, and the setting was retained for several later Scooby-Doo productions. Shaggy is in most cases said to be from Coolsville, Ohio, and the live-action films Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed and Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins are set in Coolsville.
