The island of the witch-queen Circe, where men are turned into guinea pigs.
In The Sea of Monsters, after the ship carrying Percy and Annabeth is destroyed and they travel through the strait guarded by Charybdis and Scylla, the two land on the island of the witch-queen Circe. They realize that she has turned dozens of men into guinea pigs, turn the guinea pigs back into men and escape on the pirate ship Queen Anne's Revenge, which Percy can control.
