Lore & Background
Pluton is the weapon Sir Crocodile hoped to find under Alabasta's capital Alubarna; the Poneglyph in the Tomb of the Kings was thought to describe it, and CP9 later tried to force Nico Robin's help in stealing Pluton's blueprints from Iceburg of Water 7, which they believed he had inherited from the shipwright Tom. Poseidon is described on the Poneglyph in Shandora on Skypiea; the mermaid princess Shirahoshi, who can speak with Sea Kings, is Poseidon itself, a power that could destroy the world.
