Sir Crocodile's Baroque Works ran its takeover of Alabasta, codenamed Operation Utopia, to reach that Poneglyph. When Crocodile found it in the dungeons of the Tomb of the Kings, Nico Robin told him it held the kingdom's annals and not the weapon's secrets, then turned on him. Later, at Water 7, CP9 threatened Robin with a Buster Call to make her help assassinate the mayor Iceburg and steal Pluton's blueprints, which they believed he had inherited from his late master, the shipwright Tom. A World Government official named Corgy took part in the mission and escorted Robin and Franky to Enies Lobby by Sea Train.
