YoRHa is the elite android force of Nier: Automata, commanded from the Bunker, a reconnaissance base orbiting Earth, by its top officer, the Commander. Its androids are forbidden emotions and lack true names, though each has a distinct personality.

YoRHa keeps alive the myth that humanity survives on the Moon to give the androids a reason to exist. A2 and 9S learn that YoRHa was designed to lose, and that a backdoor placed by the Machines lets it be destroyed and started over. The YoRHa androids are themselves technically machines, built with recycled cores.
