Helice (mythology)

Several figures in Greek myth share the name Helice.

Helice was a name shared by several women in Greek mythology. When Cronus sought Zeus, the god transformed himself into a serpent and his nurses into bears; later he made them constellations, Helice becoming Ursa Major. A third Helice was an Aegialian princess who married Ion and became mother of Bura.
