Krat
The Belle Epoque-style city where Lies of P is set.
Krat is a location in the game Lies of P where characters such as Alidoro can end up after being directed there by the player.[1] Alidoro will always eventually arrive at Hotel Krat regardless of the player's choice.[1] During the first encounter, the player can direct Alidoro to either Hotel Krat or Venigni Works.[1] In a later choice, the player can send Alidoro to either Hotel Krat or Elysion Boulevard.[1]
How it changed
After the player defeats main bosses, they receive Rare Ergos as rewards.[1] Alidoro's quest later involves the blacksmith Eugenie at Hotel Krat.[1] The player must speak with Eugenie after defeating Champion Victor.[1] Alidoro is not excited about a gift the player brings him.[1]
After an ambush at Hotel Krat, the player must talk to Eugenie again.[1] The player returns to Hotel Krat and asks Venigni to decipher a vessel.[1] A character named Rookie Explorer Hugo appears in the same spot at Hotel Krat where Alidoro used to be.[1] Hugo assists the player with a trade.[1]
What the maker and period sources say
A 2023 walkthrough by El Ouardighi states that the player encounters several NPCs after reaching Hotel Krat.[1] The same source notes that additional characters may find their way to Hotel Krat as the player advances.[1] The walkthrough describes that the player has two choices for where to send Alidoro: Hotel Krat or Venigni Works.[1] Later, the options become Hotel Krat or Elysion Boulevard.[1]
The walkthrough emphasizes that the choice does not matter because Alidoro always ends up at Hotel Krat.[1]
