Tōō Academy, also written Touhou, is the high school of Daiki Aomine, the former ace of the Generation of Miracles. It is a school in the Tokyo district that is not historically strong in basketball. Aomine chose it because it was willing to accommodate his antics, such as skipping practice and not attending games.

Lore & Background
The team is widely known for being composed of individuals with very specialized styles and poor compatibility with their teammates, whose efforts the captain and point guard Shōichi Imayoshi pulls together. Its manager is Satsuki Momoi, formerly the manager of Teikō's Generation of Miracles, who is renowned for planning nearly flawless strategies. Touhou hands Seirin a crushing 112–55 defeat in the Inter-High and finishes second in that tournament behind Rakuzan. The two teams meet again in the first round of the Winter Cup, where Seirin wins and Aomine suffers his first-ever loss.
Reader's Guide
Daiki Aomine plays power forward and can dominate a game despite never going to practice. Ryō Sakurai, a first-year, is the shooting guard, and the second-year Kōsuke Wakamatsu is the center, strong on defense and rebounds. Wakamatsu is on very bad terms with Aomine but acknowledges him as the best player on the team. After the Winter Cup loss to Seirin the third-year players retire and Wakamatsu becomes the new captain.
