Furihata
A first-year point guard on Seirin's bench.
Koki Furihata is a first-year student on Seirin High's basketball team in Kuroko's Basketball. He joined the team along with Kuroko and Kagami, together with his fellow first-years Hiroshi Fukuda and Koichi Kawahara. He plays point guard, sees very limited playing time and is mostly found on the bench.
Lore & Background
In the Winter Cup semi-final against Kaijo, coach Riko Aida sends Furihata in for Shun Izuki; he seems nervous at first, but his cautious play calms the whole team down and Seirin begins to score. Before the final he gives Kuroko a wristband filled with the team's thoughts. In the final Seirin subs him in to lure Rakuzan, but he quickly gets fatigued after facing Akashi, and Fukuda takes his place.
