Rakuzan
The national champions led by Seijuro Akashi.
Rakuzan High is the school of Seijuro Akashi, the captain and leader of the Generation of Miracles. Akashi, a freshman, is the captain of its national champion basketball team and plays point guard. Rakuzan is Seirin's opponent in the final of the Winter Cup.

Three of the Uncrowned Kings play for Rakuzan: Kotarō Hayama, whose specialty is the Lightning Dribble; Reo Mibuchi, the team's best shooter; and Eikichi Nebuya, who relies on brute strength. Chihiro Mayuzumi was put on the team because he has the rare ability of misdirection, and Akashi trained him to be like Kuroko, but with finer skills. Rakuzan wins the Inter-High and beats Shūtoku 86–70 in the Winter Cup semi-final. In the final Akashi's Emperor Eye at first overwhelms Kagami and Kuroko, but Seirin wins 106–105 and takes the Winter Cup.
