Darius Bowman aids the Department of Prehistoric Wildlife (DPW) in capturing and protecting dinosaurs, while Ben Pincus has become a conspiracy theorist attempting to bring his friends back together after realizing they are in danger. Yasmina Fadoula attends college while recovering from severe PTSD, and Sammy Gutierrez runs her family's ranch. Kenji Kon serves as a skilled climbing instructor and Darius' adoptive brother. Brooklynn, who was presumed killed by an Allosaurus under suspicious circumstances during an investigation, is revealed to have survived despite losing her left forearm. The group faces threats from corrupt DPW officers like Jensen and Dudley Cabrera, as well as international dinosaur traffickers led by Soyona Santos.

In Their Own Story

The quartet of trained Atrociraptors—Ghost, Panthera, Tiger, and Red—along with the blind-eyed Allosaurus from Battle at Big Rock, play significant roles in the group's journey. The Nublar Six encounter various dinosaurs including Bumpy, Ben's Ankylosaurus companion with an asymmetrical face, and Big Eatie, a mother Tyrannosaurus rex from Mantah Corp Island. In Senegal, they meet Zayna Mballo, a teenage girl living on her family's rice farm, while in Italy they encounter Gia, Ben's long-distance Italian girlfriend who is a paleontologist student. The group also crosses paths with Barry Sembène, a former Velociraptor trainer seeking to take down Santos, and Lewis Dodgson, the CEO of Biosyn. Their investigation leads them from Texas to Malta to northern Italy, uncovering a vast network of dinosaur smuggling and cloning operations.
