London, 1916: where the 16-year-old Indy decides to join the Belgian Army.
London appears in the Indiana Jones stories mainly in The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles. In the episode "London, May 1916", the 16-year-old Indy decides to join his friend Remy in the Belgian Army under the name Henri Defense, and meets the English suffragette Vicky Prentiss, played by Elizabeth Hurley. In Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jones and Marion arrange to take the Ark to London aboard a tramp steamer.

In the original broadcast of "London, May 1916", Vicky Prentiss is reunited with the 93-year-old Indiana Jones in 1992. Henry Jones Sr. taught at no London institution in the films: he graduated from the University of Oxford and taught at Princeton.
Reader's Guide
London was used mostly as a filming location: in the Last Crusade, Lawrence Hall stood in for the interior of Berlin's Tempelhof Airport and Henry's house was filmed at Mill Hill, while the Dial of Destiny shot in Hackney and Hatton Garden, which doubled as New York City. Indy's fedora for the first three films came from Herbert Johnson Hatters of Savile Row.
