Background
The episode opens with Vaggie telling the residents she is a fallen angel, after her secret came out in Heaven. Alastor finds Charlie in tears and offers her information - that Carmilla Carmine killed an angel during the last Extermination - in exchange for a binding future favour, a favour he calls in during the season-two finale. Charlie sends Vaggie to Carmilla, who explains that angelic steel can kill angels. In Cannibal Town, Alastor's asexuality is alluded to in conversation with Rosie, and Charlie, at her most persuasive when she sings, wins the cannibals over. She also reconciles with Vaggie.
Rosie is voiced by Leslie Rodriguez Kritzer, and the episode introduces Susan, the "ornery old" cannibal whom Rosie and Alastor dislike, voiced by Kimiko Glenn.
