Gameplay
The game contains eight minigames, each featuring a Muppets character. Activity mode allows individual play, while Story mode plays minigames in sequence and unlocks two additional ones. A password-based save system continues Story mode and grants access to unlocked minigames. Examples include 'Electric Mayhem', a rhythm game; 'Swedish Chef's Cooking Hour', where players slap away rats with a pot; and 'Kermit's Banjo Bayou', a Frogger variant avoiding penguins, Fozzie Bear, and Miss Piggy.
Reception
Metacritic rated the game as receiving mixed or average reviews. Critics were divided on the minigames' merit and noted the absence of a save system. Scott Alan Marriott of Allgame found the minigames simple but engaging, though some were painfully easy and lacked replay value. Brian Davis of GameSpy called the game fun, cheap, and replayable, praising its humor and visuals, but faulted its short length and missing save system. Game Informer wrote that the games just aren't much fun, citing sub-par minigames. Electronic Gaming Monthly criticized the controls, stating characters take little interest in directional commands.
