Richese

The House whose laboratory moon Korona was destroyed by Shaddam's atomics.

Richese is a planet and Great House of the Dune universe that appears mainly in the Prelude to Dune prequels by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson. In Dune: House Atreides, Baron Harkonnen builds an invisible ship with the help of a Richese scientist and has Glossu Rabban attack Tleilaxu ships with it, framing the Atreides. In 10,175 A.G., Padishah Emperor Shaddam IV uses atomics to destroy House Richese's artificial laboratory moon of Korona as part of his plan to secure a spice monopoly; the light from the destroyed Richesian mirrors stored there blinds a quarter of the planet's population.
