Lore & Background

The game follows Conker, a greedy, hard-drinking red squirrel who must return home to his girlfriend, Berri, after an evening of heavily drinking at the local pub. The setting is the Panther King's Kingdom. The plot involves Conker getting lost, encountering various animal characters (including weasels, teddy bears, and the Great Mighty Poo), and ultimately confronting the Panther King and his servant Professor Von Kriplespac.

In Their Own Story

The rain slicked the pavement outside the pub. Conker leaned against the wall, clutching a bottle. A shadow fell over him. The Cop stepped forward, badge glinting under the neon sign. 'You're coming with us,' he grunted, hand on his holster. Conker smirked, tossing the empty bottle into a bin. 'Not today, officer.' The cop's partner circled around, fingers twitching near his nightstick. The air smelled of stale beer and ozone. Conker's tail flicked. It was going to be a long night.

Reader's Guide

Most of the game requires the player to complete a linear sequence of challenges that involve jumping over obstacles, solving puzzles, and fighting enemies. The player controls Conker through three-dimensional levels, using abilities such as running, jumping, smacking enemies with a frying pan, swimming, climbing, and pushing objects. Context-sensitive pads grant temporary abilities. A multiplayer mode with up to four players in seven game types is included.
