In Their Own Story
Conker stumbles into a clearing, hungover and confused, when a small blue bird lands on a nearby signpost. 'You look lost,' Birdy says, his voice flat. 'Press the A button to jump. Try not to die immediately.' Conker grumbles, but Birdy continues, 'The King wants his money. The Panther King. Big, scary, likes gold. You'll find him... eventually. Or he'll find you.' With a flick of his tail feathers, Birdy takes off, leaving Conker alone with a new quest and a lingering sense of dread.
