The club was thick with smoke and the low thrum of jazz. Conker, still nursing a hangover from the previous night's misadventures, was shoved into a plush velvet booth. Across from him, Berri lounged like a queen on a throne, her purple fur shimmering under the dim lights. She smiled—slow, deliberate, a predator savoring the moment. 'I have a little job for you, my furry friend,' she purred, sliding a photograph across the table. 'Just a simple delivery. Nothing you can't handle.' Conker, desperate and naive, nodded eagerly. He didn't see the trap until it was too late, the photograph a map to his own doom.
