Characters

McGee, voiced by Scott McCord, is a 12-year-old daredevil and thrill seeker whose curiosity leads him to act before thinking. He ignores counselors' warnings and often gets himself and his friends into trouble, but his eager mind also gets them out. His catchphrase is "Should've thought that through." He is fascinated by Camp Lakebottom's potential for fun and adventure, and his nemesis is Buttsquat. Gretchen, voiced by Melissa Altro, is one of McGee's best friends. She is sardonic, indifferent, and a tomboy with a black belt in karate. Her nemesis is Suzi. Though she appears tough, she secretly wishes she could be a normal girl. Her catchphrases include "Ya think?!" and "Drop that Squirt!" She has a severe phobia of chipmunks, as revealed in "Cheeks of Dread." Her father calls her "Gretchikins" and her mother calls her "Gretchywetchy"; her surname is Gritcherson. Squirt, voiced by Darren Frost, is another of McGee's best friends. He is dimwitted but always cheerful and friendly to all living things, even those that try to harm him. He has befriended nearly every monster at Camp Lakebottom. His lack of intelligence makes him susceptible to mind control, as seen in "Mindsuckers From the Depths." In "Late Afternoon of the Living Gitch," it is revealed he has worn the same pair of underwear his entire life.
