Cosmic Cowboys is a French-Canadian animated series with 52 episodes, each running 13 minutes. Jan Van Rijsselberge, using the name Eddy Marx, created it, with direction from Hugo Gittard, François Rosso, and Laurent Nicolas. It first aired in Quebec on VRAK.TV on January 4, 2004.

Curtis, voiced by Rick Jones, is a lazy blue cat-goat mutant who often ignores rules and enjoys lounging, watching TV, and eating junk food, yet proves resourceful when needed. Dook, voiced by Danny Wells, is a disciplined green buffalo who thinks before acting. Granny, voiced by Kathleen Fee, is their boss, informing them of criminals and viewing them as incompetent. Cereal Bob, voiced by Rick Jones, is a pink rabbit and the Cowboys' arch-nemesis who plots universal domination and attacks anyone who calls him cute.

Distribution

The series aired on Seven Network in Australia and VRAK.TV in Quebec from January 2004. France 3 broadcast only the first 20 episodes before dropping it; the remaining 32 episodes remained unaired until Game One acquired the rights in December 2025 and rebroadcast the full show. Cosmic Cowboys had no Anglophone Canada distribution. Kika broadcast it in Germany, and REN-TV (later 2x2) broadcast it in Russia.
