Back to the Floor is a reality television series that aired on BBC Two during the late 1990s and early 2000s. In each episode, a chief executive or senior manager went undercover in their own organisation, taking an entry-level job to learn how the company truly operated and what employees thought.

Episodes
The series ran for three seasons, with episodes broadcast from 28 October 1997 to 8 November 2000. The first season began with "Working Holiday", in which Terry Brown of Unijet worked as a rep in Tenerife for a week. Other first-season episodes included headmistress Gillian DuCharme teaching in a comprehensive, Bob Baty of South West Water returning to the frontline, General Sir Hew Pike becoming a junior officer in the Army, Peter Cottee of Terminex working as a pest controller in London, and Ann Lloyd serving as an auxiliary nurse.
The second season opened with "Seeing Red", where Butlins managing director Tony Marshall worked as a redcoat. Tony Pidgley of Berkeley Group Holdings became a site manager on his own development, Heather Rabatts of Lambeth Council became a housing trainee, RSPCA director general Peter Davies worked as an inspector in Leeds, police chief Paul Whitehouse went back on the beat, and Grant Whitaker became a mover for Pickfords.
The third season included Sainsbury's chief executive Dino Adriano working as an assistant floor manager, Roger Cato becoming a customer service duty manager at Heathrow, Giles Fearnley of West Anglia Great Northern working as a platform supervisor, David Ford of Gardner Marchant training as a catering manager, David Sullivan of the Daily Sport and Sunday Sport working as a reporter, the head of PGL looking after 24 children, Wedgwood's Brian Patterson working on the production line, David Batts cleaning for his own Radisson-Edwardian hotel chain, Sandals boss Steve Garley becoming a wedding co-ordinator in the Caribbean, and Prison Service director general Martin Narey working as a prison officer at Parkhurst.
