What the cited sources add

A 2025 podcast episode by Gotta Be Done reveals the true origins of Bluey's kid in "Surprise!".[4] The podcast is hosted by two Melbourne mums, Kate McMahon and Mary Bolling, who deep-dive every Bluey episode.[4] The episode discusses Lake Currimundi on Queensland's Sunshine Coast and "Stickbirds".[4]
