Making and release
Joe Brumm is the show's creator, and he conceived the idea while working on Charlie and Lola.[3] The Walt Disney Company acquired the international broadcasting rights in 2019.[4] A five-minute animation sample was created by the studio and presented at the 2016 Asian Animation Summit held in Brisbane.[5] Michael Carrington, who worked for the ABC, obtained $20,000 in funding so the studio could make a more polished pilot lasting seven minutes.[6]
An order for 52 episodes, each seven minutes long, was placed by the two networks; the BBC provided 30 percent of the financial backing.[5] On 1 October 2018, the first series had its Australian debut on ABC Kids.[7] In the United States, the series began airing on Disney Junior on 9 September 2019.[4] April 2022 marked the completion of production for the third series.[8]
