What Are Little Girls Made Of?
Gwen meets the grandmother her powers come from.
"What Are Little Girls Made Of?" is the eighth episode of Ben 10: Alien Force. In it Gwen learns where her powers come from: her long-lost grandmother Verdona, Max's wife, is an Anodite, a powerful energy being from the distant world Anodyne.
Lore & Background
Ben, Gwen and Kevin are resting at Max's favourite fishing spot when they see a cloaked elderly woman leave a flower by a tree carved with "Max + Verdona". She vanishes in a flash of pink light, so they wait for her to come back. When Ben and Kevin confront her she turns out to have powers exactly like Gwen's, and she is amazed when Gwen uses hers in return.
Reader's Guide
Verdona urges Gwen to shed her human body and live as a full Anodite, and offers to take her to Anodyne and train her. Gwen refuses and stays on Earth with Ben and Kevin. Verdona leaves reluctantly, promising to visit now and then. The episode also introduces Ben's form Spidermonkey.
