Kevin Levin Corruption Saga
Kevin Levin absorbs too much power, loses his mind and has to be brought back.
Kevin Levin's power is absorption, and more than once in the Ben 10 franchise it turns on him. The longest such story runs through the first season of Ben 10: Ultimate Alien: to defeat the villain Aggregor, Kevin absorbs the power of the Ultimatrix, which drives him insane and leaves him hungry for ever more power.

Lore & Background
The pattern starts in the original series, where the eleven-year-old Kevin siphons the Omnitrix's energy and becomes an unstable hybrid of Ben's alien forms. In Alien Force he tries to hack the Omnitrix to unlock its Master Control, the device explodes, and he is left mutated into a mineral form. In Ultimate Alien he recognizes the villain Aggregor as an Osmosian like his own father and warns him that absorbing energy costs Osmosians their sanity.
Reader's Guide
At the Forge of Creation a ten-year-old Ben persuades Kevin to absorb the Ultimatrix; Kevin becomes a monstrous amalgam of Ben's aliens, beats Aggregor, loses his mind and flees. He tries to murder the prison warden Morgg, attacks Argit and steals the powers of Alan Albright. Ben decides that Kevin has to be killed, which sets him against Gwen. Michael Morningstar reveals that the Dominus Librium can strip away the stolen powers. Gwen confronts Kevin at the New York arcade where they first met, he loses control and attacks her, and Ben knocks him out; the Dominus Librium then restores Kevin to normal, and the five Andromeda aliens whose powers Aggregor had taken come back to life.
