While Republic City stood as a home for all nations, Aang felt it remained incomplete without Air Nomads. The group, now adults with established roles—Katara as a council representative, Sokka in the Southern Water Tribe, Toph running a metalbending academy, and Zuko as Fire Lord—united once more. This reunion was driven by Aang's hope to bring back the Air Nomads, though it would soon fracture under the weight of new prejudices and ancient betrayals.
