Initial stages
Conservative extremists staged the coup, fearing loss of mining rights and an Osean military presence.[2] Their GHQ was established in the former civilian capitol building.[2] The rebels took control of Saint Ark, a city on the northern coast, and made it the seat of their interim military government.[2] Every rebel unit was reorganized into military branches that all started with USEA Unified, for instance the USEA Unified Navy and the USEA Unified Air Force.[2]
Later engagements
The rebels launched an ICBM from Fortress Intolerance toward Yuktobania as a last-ditch effort.[3] On September 18, 1998, Scarface Squadron destroyed the ICBM, ending the coup in an Allied victory and capturing surviving rebel soldiers.[3]
Vehicles
Their ground vehicles included the M1A1 Abrams tank and M270 MLRS, and their vessels included the Kinnear-class aircraft carrier and Ticonderoga-class cruiser.[4][5]
