Etymology
The term "Galm" comes from a mistaken translation of "Garm", a hellhound from Norse mythology that watches over Hel.[2]
Early engagements
On April 2, 1995, Galm Team carried out its first known combat mission, stopping a Belkan bombing attack on Valais Air Base.[3]
Allied counteroffensive
During the battle for Area B7R on May 28, Cipher was given the nickname "Demon Lord of the Round Table" by Allied pilots.[4]
Postwar
After the conflict ended, Cipher disappeared from official records, but Foulke lived through his injuries and eventually went back to work as a mercenary in Usea.[5]
AWACS Eagle Eye
Galm Team was supported by AWACS Eagle Eye, which provided tactical and data analysis from the mission over Route 171 onward.[6]
