Formation
The coalition initially had 11 founding states and later expanded to 16 members; by the war's end, all Usean nations except San Salvacion and Erusea were members.[2]
Continental war
The ISAF launched a counteroffensive in January 2005 with Operation Bunker Shot, culminating in the destruction of Stonehenge by Mobius 1.[3] The ISAF liberated San Salvacion in July 2005 and captured the Erusean capital Farbanti in September 2005.[3]
Postwar period
After the war, the ISAF oversaw the formation of a postwar Erusean government and suppressed the Free Erusea uprising in Operation Katina in September 2006.[4] The ISAF was dissolved by the Continental Nations' Economic Alliance after the Erusean threat was suppressed, and peacekeeping operations were handed to the IUN.[4]
Organization
A configuration of triangles called the "Three Arrowheads" served as the ISAF's primary emblem.[5]
Trivia
The ISAF acronym is identical to that of the International Security Assistance Force, a NATO-led mission in Afghanistan from 2001 to 2014.[6]
