Central City

Missouri hometown of the Flash and Kid Flash.

Central City, Missouri, is the hometown of the Flash and his former protégé Kid Flash, Wally West, in Young Justice; a map in the show places it in western Missouri, on the Kansas border.

Background

In 2010 Flash and Kid Flash stop Captain Cold robbing a jewelry store, Wally and Superboy break up a robbery by the Terror Twins at the Central City Mall, and three generations of Flashes celebrate Jay Garrick's birthday at the West family house. In 2016 the villain Neutron attacks during Jay and Joan Garrick's seventieth wedding anniversary; Flash, Impulse, Kid Flash and Jay beat him, but a blast of his energy badly damages the city centre.
