Lore & Background

In Young Justice, Bart is voiced by Jason Marsden. He is a speedster from the future and the grandson of the Flash, Barry Allen, determined to change history to prevent the post-apocalyptic future he comes from, while putting on a cheerful and talkative front. In 2056, Neutron works with Bart so he can travel back in time and alter the timeline. Bart succeeds in saving Barry Allen, and after Wally West's death he takes the name Kid Flash. Joan Garrick, Jay Garrick's wife, is his foster mother.
