Hal Jordan

Green Lantern: a founding member of the Justice League.

Hal Jordan is the Green Lantern created in 1959 by writer John Broome and artist Gil Kane, first appearing in Showcase #22 (October 1959). A former fighter pilot who works as a test pilot for Ferris Aircraft, he is a member of the Green Lantern Corps and protects Sector 2814 with a power ring that turns willpower into energy constructs.
