Brainiac

Superman's knowledge-hoarding enemy.

Brainiac is a DC Comics supervillain created by Otto Binder and Al Plastino who first appeared in Action Comics #242 (1958). Usually a superintelligent android or cyborg from the planet Colu, he collects knowledge by shrinking cities and bottling them aboard his skull-shaped ship.

Brainiac appears in the Young Justice tie-in comic. The series itself features Brainiac 5, a Coluan android and member of the Legion of Super-Heroes.
