Narada Michael Walden is an American musician, singer, songwriter and record producer who worked with Whitney Houston in the 1980s and 1990s. He produced the Whitney Houston song "How Will I Know" (1985), the album *Whitney* (1987), the single "One Moment in Time" (1988), the album *I'm Your Baby Tonight* (1990), and the song "I'm Every Woman" (1992). He also co-produced and played on the album *The Bodyguard: Original Soundtrack Album* (1992), which won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 1993. Walden began his career as a drummer in jazz fusion, appearing with John McLaughlin and the Mahavishnu Orchestra, before transitioning into a songwriter and producer role after being mentored by Quincy Jones.
