Sacarver is one of the nine bishops who rule the fictional city of Dema in the conceptual world of Twenty One Pilots' fifth studio album, Trench. The nine bishops are Nico, Andre, Lisden, Keons, Reisdro, Sacarver, Nills, Vetomo, and Listo.

Lore & Background
Dema is a fictional location set within Trench, ruled by nine bishops. Their names are Nico, Andre, Lisden, Keons, Reisdro, Sacarver, Nills, Vetomo, and Listo. The chief bishop, Nico, was revealed by lead singer Tyler Joseph to be Blurryface, the personification of his insecurities from the band's previous album. The bishops are opposed by a group called the Banditos, who aim to liberate the people of Dema. The Banditos adopt the color yellow, specifically 0xFCE300, which the bishops are unable to see, instead seeing it as grey.

Sacarver is one of the nine named bishops in the Trench lore. The bishops rule the city of Dema, which draws its name from dakhma, or 'Tower of Silence,' in Zoroastrianism. The band explained on Reddit that they were inspired by the 'sad and intriguing concept of a dying religion... the reason it was dying was something they could never control: The lack of the vultures needed to carry out their theology.' The chief bishop, Nico, is identified as Blurryface. The Banditos, who oppose the bishops, use the color yellow (0xFCE300), which the bishops perceive as grey.
