Lore & Background

On Earth, Frenzy assumes the disguise of consumer electronics to blend in. His primary mission involves penetrating secure military networks to uncover the location of the AllSpark and his leader, Megatron. In the film's plot, Blackout and Scorponok attack a U.S. SOCCENT base in Qatar but fail to extract data when staff sever network cables. Frenzy then infiltrates Air Force One to hack into the military network. There, he discovers a map imprinted on the eyeglasses of Archibald Witwicky from 1897. These glasses are currently owned by Archibald's descendant, Sam Witwicky. This discovery triggers a chase across Los Angeles as Frenzy and Barricade track Sam to retrieve the artifact.

Reader's Guide

To identify Frenzy in this specific continuity, look for a small robot capable of transforming into a PGX Boombox or a Nokia N93i. He is voiced by Reno Wilson. His tactical value lies in his ability to infiltrate secure networks where larger Decepticons cannot go. In the narrative, he serves as the key link between the initial attacks on military bases and the final confrontation at Mission City. Unlike Barricade, who confronts Sam directly for the glasses, Frenzy handles the digital reconnaissance that makes the pursuit possible.
