On Earth, Frenzy assumes the disguise of consumer electronics to blend in. His primary mission involves penetrating secure military networks to uncover the location of the AllSpark and his leader, Megatron. In the film's plot, Blackout and Scorponok attack a U.S. SOCCENT base in Qatar but fail to extract data when staff sever network cables. Frenzy then infiltrates Air Force One to hack into the military network. There, he discovers a map imprinted on the eyeglasses of Archibald Witwicky from 1897. These glasses are currently owned by Archibald's descendant, Sam Witwicky. This discovery triggers a chase across Los Angeles as Frenzy and Barricade track Sam to retrieve the artifact.

In Their Own Story

After Blackout's failure at the Qatar base, Frenzy successfully infiltrates Air Force One while it is in flight. He hacks into the U.S. military network, bypassing security protocols that thwarted his comrades on the ground. His search yields a critical piece of intelligence: coordinates for the AllSpark hidden within Archibald Witwicky's glasses. With this data, Frenzy and Barricade begin tracking Sam Witwicky in Los Angeles. Later, while pretending to be part of the convoy transporting Sam and Mikaela to the Hoover Dam, Frenzy secretly accompanies them. Upon arrival at the dam, he alerts the other Decepticons to the AllSpark's location. In a decisive move, he releases the frozen Megatron from his containment facility, allowing the Decepticon leader to rejoin the fight.
