Nicole Watterson

The karate-trained, workaholic mother who holds the Watterson household together.

Doctor Nicole Watterson (née Senicourt) is the mother of Gumball, Darwin and Anais in The Amazing World of Gumball: a 38-year-old blue cat who is bossy, over-stressed and hot-tempered, a workaholic who can also be sweet. A master martial artist who learned karate and won many tournaments when she was young, she is fiercely protective of her family, occasionally vindictive, and resourceful and inventive. "The Parents" revealed that Doctor is actually her first name and Nicole her middle name. She is voiced by Teresa Gallagher, who returned to the role for the 2025 revival The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball.
