Characters
Coconut Fred, voiced by Rob Paulsen, is a cheerful and energetic coconut with the ability to turn his imagination into reality. He often exclaims "Yay, me!" and "Now you're talking, coconut!" Slip and Slide D'Peel, both voiced by Eric Bauza, are hillbilly banana brothers who are less intelligent than other residents and take things seriously. They perform with Fred in Coconut Fred's All-Body Sound Band, which produces music from bodily sounds. Bingo Cherry, voiced by Tracey Moore for the first two episodes and by Britt McKillip thereafter, is a shy and timid cherry who is easily frightened, often unintentionally by Fred. Mr. Mel Greenrind, voiced by Michael Donovan, is a strict watermelon who enforces order using his squeaky board of rules, usually with Bingo's assistance. Wedgie, voiced by Brian Drummond, is an accident-prone lemon sailor who ended up on the island due to Fred. He frequently talks to a wooden figurehead named Betty and devises escape plans that are foiled by Fred. Bunga Berry, voiced by David Kaye, is a wild strawberry who communicates only in grunts and growls, yet is understood by everyone. Butchy, voiced by Eric Bauza, is a gravenstein apple who takes pride in being the island's bully and troublemaker, often targeting Bingo. Black Berry, voiced by Brian Drummond, is a blackberry who serves as Butchy's secretary, his name punning on the BlackBerry PDA. Tiffany Pears, voiced by Britt McKillip, is a pear singer popular with most islanders except Mr. Greenrind, parodying Britney Spears. B.L. Tomato, voiced by Ashleigh Ball, is an outcast tomato uncertain whether he is a fruit or vegetable; in the Season 2 episode "Captain Nut and the Power Fruits", he joins Blendar as the Tomatonator.
