Summary
The series is set somewhere in the Midwestern United States, near Chicago, between the first and second films. In season one, Boss Baby and Tim work to stop Bootsy Calico, a businessman and former vet who controls kittens due to his traumatic past. Boss Baby also contends with his boss, Mega Fat CEO Baby, who repeatedly tries to fire him. Calico eventually surrenders and is arrested, and Mega Fat is fired after making a deal with Bootsy. Season two introduces Frederick Estes and the Consortium of Ancients. Boss Baby's new boss, Turtleneck Superstar CEO Baby, assigns him to protect the Stinkless Serum, a product that eliminates bad odors. After becoming CEO, Boss Baby defeats Estes and Turtleneck Superstar, who is revealed to be an old woman guilty of espionage for the Consortium; both are arrested. In season three, the board of directors fires Boss Baby, believing he attracts enemies. He works with a playgroup that includes a reformed Mega Fat to regain his position. Meanwhile, his co-workers Staci and Jimbo deal with rapidly hired and fired CEOs. Boss Baby shuts down Bubbezee, a company making babies unhappy while appearing to keep them safe. Its CEO is Happy Sedengry, who earlier posed as a baby communicator called a Babblist and tried to divide the playgroup. Boss Baby defeats Sedengry, who is arrested, and the board rehires him as CEO.
