Synopsis
After the events of The Boss Baby: Family Business, Ted Templeton is wanted by the FBI for embezzlement after his company's board framed him. He uses a special baby formula from Baby Corp to rejuvenate himself into a baby, hiding with his brother Tim's family. Ted works with Baby Corp alongside his niece Tina, ensuring babies receive love from adults, while Carol learns their secret. In the first season, Ted and Tina's team face new arch-nemeses. In the second season, after being fired, they launch their own baby-love company and confront an adversary seeking to ruin them.
Production
Creator Brandon Sawyer drew inspiration after watching a rough cut of The Boss Baby: Family Business by Tom McGrath and Michael McCullers, working on the series during the sequel's production. Animation was provided by Technicolor Animation Productions. In a now-deleted Twitter post on September 27, 2023, Sawyer stated that season 2 was the end of Back in the Crib, indicating the series concluded after two seasons.
