Engineer

The Texan inventor who builds sentry guns, dispensers and teleporters.

The Engineer is one of the nine playable classes of Team Fortress 2: an American inventor, engineer and good ol' boy from Bee Cave, Texas, voiced by Grant Goodeve. The game counts him among its defensive classes, with the Heavy and the Demoman.

He is armed with a shotgun, a pistol and a wrench, which is both his melee weapon and the tool that repairs and upgrades his buildings. Those buildings are a sentry gun to defend key points, a dispenser of health and ammunition, and a pair of teleporters, one entrance and one exit.
