Blutarch Mann

Founder of BLU and one half of the Gravel War.

Blutarch Mann is one of the identical twin sons of Zepheniah Mann and the founder of Builders' League United (BLU), while his twin Redmond founded Reliable Excavation Demolition (RED). Their father's will forced them to share his lands in New Mexico, and their lifelong rivalry became the Gravel War, a stalemate lasting over a hundred years in which both brothers kept themselves alive with immortality machines.

The game's player-versus-player modes are set during the Gravel Wars, for which the nine playable characters were hired as mercenaries. The comic 'Loose Canon', tied to the Engineer Update, set out this history from Zepheniah's will of 1890. Their brother Gray Mann later emerges as a third competitor, kills both twins and forces Saxton Hale to rehire the mercenaries to protect Mann Co.
