Mann vs. Machine
The cooperative mode against Gray Mann's robots.
Mann vs Machine (MvM) is Team Fortress 2's cooperative game mode, in which players defend their base against waves of robots modelled on all nine classes and, on some maps, slow-moving tanks carrying bombs.

Reader's Guide
In the story the robots are Gray Mann's army, and the mercenaries are rehired to defend Mann Co. from them. In June 2025 Valve asked community mappers to prepare new maps for an upcoming update focused on the mode.
