Earth

Humanity's homeworld and Federation capital

Earth, also called Sol III or Terra, is the third planet of the Sol system and the home of humanity. It was unified under United Earth in 2150, helped found the Coalition of Planets in 2155 and the United Federation of Planets in 2161, and served as the Federation's capital and the home of Starfleet Headquarters, which made it a target for enemies such as the Borg and the Dominion.
