Background
In Stockton, Juice tells Ron Tully that the Lin Triad wants Tully dead, and that he knows Jax has asked Tully to kill him. He does not fight it: while Tully's crew stage a distraction in the cafeteria, Tully stabs him repeatedly in the neck and Juice bleeds out on the floor. In Oregon, Wayne Unser reaches Gemma first and tells her he has to arrest her. When Jax arrives, Unser will not leave and draws his gun, and Jax shoots him through the heart. Gemma admits she killed Tara, asks to go out to the garden, and tells Jax she is ready; he shoots her in the back of the head among her roses. Earlier the same day, at a meeting with Packer and the other charter presidents, Jax admits he lied about Jury White and that Barosky was the real informant on the guns, knowing the confession means a mayhem vote against him.
