Poison
The Silent's damage-over-time debuff that ignores Block.
Poison is a debuff in Slay the Spire, applied mainly by the Silent. At the start of a poisoned enemy's turn it loses HP equal to its Poison stacks, and then the stack count drops by one. That HP loss goes straight through Block. In total a stack of x Poison can deal x(x+1)/2 damage, though fights rarely last long enough for all of it to land.
Background
Cards that apply it include Deadly Poison, Poisoned Stab, Bouncing Flask, Crippling Cloud, Corpse Explosion and Noxious Fumes. Other characters can get poison cards through the A Note For Yourself event, the Prismatic Shard relic or the Watcher's Foreign Influence.
