Golden Idol
An event relic that makes enemies drop 25% more gold.
The Golden Idol is a relic in Slay the Spire that makes enemies drop 25% more Gold. It comes from the Golden Idol event, found only in Act 1, where the player finds a shining idol on a pedestal. Taking it springs a trap that sends a boulder rolling, and the player must outrun it and take the Injury curse, smash it and take damage equal to 25% of maximum HP, or hide and lose some maximum HP.
Background
The relic can later be traded at the Forgotten Altar for the Bloody Idol or exchanged for 333 Gold at The Moai Head. It is a reference to the golden idol in Spelunky.
