Closers

A 3D MMORPG set in a post-invasion Seoul.

Last updated

Closers is a free-to-play 3D MMORPG developed by Naddic Games and published by Nexon in South Korea, with Naddic Games self-publishing the game worldwide. In August 2017, En Masse Entertainment announced it would launch the game in North America and Europe, with closed alpha tests beginning in September and a closed beta in November. After En Masse Entertainment ceased operations, publishing rights transferred to the developer, and the server relaunched as the global server on November 5, 2020.

Plot

The year is 2020, and the place is Seoul. After dimensional monsters invaded through gates worldwide, cities were destroyed until a minority of humans gained psychic powers, turning the tide.

These psychics, called CLOSERS, closed the gates and ended the First Dimensional War. The survivors formed the organization UNION to research psychokinetic power and prevent another war. As the dimensional gates begin shaking again, stronger creatures renew their attack on Earth.

Characters

Seha Lee is a lonely striker who enjoys gaming; his mother was a legendary Alpha Queen Closer. Seulbi Lee, a caster and Black Lambs leader, lost her parents to dimensional monsters. Seo Yuri is an energetic ranger and kendo champion.
