Lore & Background
Crusch's ideal is meritocracy and an end to Lugunica's dependence on the Dragon's guidance. Her camp prepared for the second subjugation of the White Whale, with the merchant Russell Fellow helping them obtain weapons, personnel and munitions; Wilhelm holds a grudge against the Whale for killing his wife Theresia.
Subaru received his land dragon Patrasche as a gift from Crusch.
