TOCA 2: Touring Cars
British touring car simulation with enhanced damage and multiplayer.
Codemasters developed and published TOCA 2: Touring Cars, a British racing game for PlayStation and Windows. Known as TOCA 2: Touring Car Challenge in North America, it is the second TOCA series entry and draws from the 1998 British Touring Car Championship season. The game featured more detailed graphics, physics, and multiplayer modes, along with realistic tracks and support races like Ford Fiestas and Formula Ford. Its standout feature was an enhanced car damage model, a major selling point against rivals such as Gran Turismo, which lacked damage modeling at the time.
